When you come to Southern Smiles for the first time, you start building a lasting and comfortable relationship with our team. However, we know not everyone is familiar with how a first dental visit goes or which information they must gather before their appointment.
Please read this page if you want to know what to expect during your next consultation. We explain our mission statement and paint a general picture of a typical visit. You can also find all the practical information you need, such as a map and practice hours. If you want to save time during your appointment, print and complete the patient forms at the end of the page before you come to the office.
Mission Statement
Our team has the shared purpose of providing quality dentistry services, and we work to bring that vision to life every day. To fulfill this mission, we are committed to:
- Listening to those we are privileged to serve.
- Earning the trust and respect of patients, members of our profession, and the community.
- Exceeding people's expectations.
- Creating an imaginative, challenging, and compassionate professional environment.
- Continually improving every aspect of our practice.
What To Expect
Being well-prepared for your appointment ensures the doctor has all the information to provide the best dental care. Before your visit, we recommend you read the content on this website and try to identify your symptoms. By educating yourself, you'll feel more at ease and get the necessary push to book your appointment. We also encourage you to learn about our staff and dentists, so you know you'll be in good hands when your visit comes. Remember to bring your dental history and new patient forms with you, as a staff member will ask for them at the front office.
Once you arrive and we ensure the documents are in order, you'll have to stay in the waiting room until one of our dentists calls you inside their office. If it's your first time, they'll perform a general, painless examination and read your medical history to look for signs of dental problems. Then, they'll deal with any issue and get your smile back in shape. If you experience anxiety or discomfort, please let us know, and we'll gladly help you feel more relaxed.
We're a phone call away to answer any questions about our staff members or services! We're looking forward to you being a part of the Southern Smiles family.
